WTM7-63 is a modular DC miniature circuit breaker (DC MCB) that provides overload protection, short circuit breaking and isolation for direct current circuits. It complies with IEC 60947-1, IEC 60898-2, GB 14048-1 and GB 14048-2, with a 6kA rated short circuit capacity across the range.
DC voltage coverage by pole count
Rated voltage steps with the pole configuration: DC 250V for 1P, DC 500V for 2P, DC 750V for 3P and DC 1000V for 4P. The pole arrangement matches the arc breaking needs of DC circuits, where the current has no natural zero crossing, so the correct pole count is the first selection step for any DC system voltage.
Full ratings range
Rated current covers 6A, 10A, 16A, 20A, 25A, 32A, 40A, 50A and 63A on the WTM7-63, with the WTM7-125 series adding 63A, 80A, 100A and 125A for string-level solar and high-load DC feeders. Each rating keeps thermal stability under continuous DC load.
Distribution protection trip
The instantaneous trip form is distribution protection, sized for DC feeder and branch protection in panels. A rated impulse withstand voltage of 4kV and rated insulation voltage of 1200V keep the breaker safe in systems with switching transients.
Electrical endurance
Electrical lifespan reaches 10,000 operations and mechanical lifespan 20,000 operations. The DC-rated arc extinguishing system keeps contact wear low in circuits that switch under load.
Environment tolerance
Operating ambient temperature spans -25℃ to +40℃, storage temperature -35℃ to +70℃, and rated altitude stays within 2,000m. Pollution degree 2 and IP20 protection cover standard indoor installation.
Installation parameters
Maximum connection capacity of 25mm², maximum torque of 2.5Nm and screw crimping terminals secure copper conductors consistently. The breaker mounts on TH37-7.5 type DIN rail, accepts incoming wiring from either up or down direction, and fits installation categories II and III.
